Kennedy Musonda Says His Ready to Seize Opportunities and Compete in Chipolopolo Squad
Kennedy Musonda, the determined Chipolopolo striker, Says his readiness to face the challenges of securing a spot in the team and compete with fellow strikers. Despite missing out on the qualifiers initially, Musonda‘s perseverance paid off as he made a spot in the final 27-man squad after the provisional 55-man list was trimmed.
In an interview with the ZedPopCulture, the Young striker shared his sentiments about the intense selection process. Musonda said the high level of quality within the squad, making the competition for positions intense. “There is so much quality in the squad, even the players who did not make it…it was nerve-wracking when they [coaches] were putting up the names on the board, you could not pick out who was going to go and who was not going to go,” Musonda stated.
As Musonda gears up for potential competition with fellow strikers like Patson Daka, he maintains a positive and determined outlook by saying…. “I am ready for every opportunity, like I said we have a good squad, when it comes to playing we leave everything to the coach because he is the one who is going to analyze who can play better and at what time for me I am ready for anything,”.
