Nkwazi FC Announces Departure of Head Coach Osward Mutapa
Nkwazi Football Club has officially confirmed the departure of Head Coach Osward Mutapa. The club’s Media and Public Relations Officer, Jeff Mwape, made the announcement, outlining the coaching staff changes following Mutapa‘s exit.
In the interim period, First Assistant Coach Dennis Makinka will step up as the Head Coach, supported by Keegan Phiri as the 2nd Assistant Coach, along with Edward Kangwa and Lawrence Lubinda. Meanwhile, Billy Mwanza and Samuel Ngulube will continue their roles as Physical Trainer and Goalkeeper Coach, respectively.
Mwape revealed that, during the temporary absence of interim Head Coach Dennis Makinka, who is currently undertaking a CAF A Coaching Course, Assistant Coach Keegan Phiri will assume the responsibilities of the Head Coach.
The club’s management and executive committee expressed gratitude to Coach Osward Mutapa for his dedicated service, hard work, and commitment to Nkwazi Football Club during his tenure as Head Coach. They extended their best wishes to Mutapa in his future endeavors.
Team Captain Crowford Mwaba also sent an apprection on behalf of the team, thanking Coach Mutapa for the knowledge he shared with the players. The announcement makes the good period for Nkwazi FC as they continue their football journey under new coaching leadership.
